My son has a Thanksgiving luncheon at school today and was talking about making a placemat for it. It reminded me of making paper placements in elementary school by weaving paper strips. That became my inspiration for the background of this card. I stamped Sunflower, Sunset, and New England Ivy ink on 1/4" strips which I wove through a piece of Barn Red cardstock slit every 1/4". I'm a fan of fall colors, in case you can't tell. :)
Very pretty. I love the weaving:)
