Not-So-Perfect Day

So I decided I wanted to do the Heart-2-Heart Challenge this week, which is a sketch challenge. In the course of assembling my card, I managed to squeeze the top off my glue bottle, sending about half a bottle's worth of glue ALL over. Big puddle on my counter top, nice sized splatters on the rug and walls... Glue is NOT fun to clean up. And I wrecked a few of the pieces I had cut out for this card. I walked away for awhile, but decided to go back and finish.


In spite of the mess I had to endure, I rather like the card. The ironic part is that the band of patterned paper is from the Perfect Day paper pack. Not exactly how I'd describe my day so far... :)

    Oh I hate when that happens...nothing is worse to clean up than glue! I'm glad you came back to finish your card! I love what you did with this sketch. Thanks for playong along at H2H!
